For those of you - who like me - are scared of bungy jumping, this is the next best thing.

Cables are placed at various points along the gorge and with the help of professional guides they attach you to these cables so that you can slide from one point to another. Its not too high and one gets to see the beautiful scenery and lush bush below. The speed that you travel along the cable obviously varies depending on your weight. So, if you are carrying just a few extra kgs, then make sure you start to break before you reach the next point. Otherwise you are likely to wipe the guides out.

The only problem I had on this adventure was that there was very little shade. With the temperatures soaring in the 30's it was very uncomfortable. By the time I got to the end I looked like I was having a hot flush.
